Not only is there really going to be a Mario & Luigi game coming out at the tail end of 2024 even after AlphaDream's bankruptcy (confirming the "Leak from 2025"), but the scene at 0:52 is also a subtle hint. Instead of a console with a dual screen, it's revealed the gameplay is actually taking place on a much larger, single screen. Brotherhood will be releasing on the Switch, the first M&L game to be on a single screen console since Superstar Saga. What's more, several characters shown in the trailer have an "electric" motif, like Connie's outlet face, or the Extension Corps being a reference to extension cords. The supporting third party character this time around is even named Snoutlet. UA-cam, electricity, basically the same thing, right? Was this truly a simple parody video from 2009? Or a real hint sent back from 2025, processed so that we could understand back then? Only time will tell how accurate this video really was when Brotherhood finally releases in November.
